Founded in 1994, Adinma Awkuzu Association, AAA, is presently a body of 70 Awkuzu professionals who share the common passion of improving the image and tone of Awkuzu town with a special eye on the quality of life of her citizens.
Corporate Structure
AAA is fully registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission with a full complement of registered trustees. Her day-to-day affairs are overseen by an elected executive committee. Other committees are subsidiary, reporting to the executive committee, including health, education, youth empowerment and health committees.
Battle Cry
AAA’s battle cry is for a greater Awkuzu!

Major Interventions
Over the years, AAA has demonstrably intervened in the life of Awkuzu indigenes in the following ways:
1. Scholarship awards to brilliant but indigent students.
2. Distribution of exercise books and instruction materials to schools.
3. Youth empowerment programmes and start-up businesses.
4. Yearly health insurance covers for 1000 indigenes.
5. Cctv coverage of the entire town, complete with walkie-talkies for vigilante personnel, repeater Station and Street lighting.
6. Construction, equipping and staffing of a huge comprehensive and specialist medical facility which has been designated: a trauma centre, a dialysis centre, a neurological centre and a hub for telemedicine in the State by the Anambra State government
7. A grade A world standard Primary Health Centre.
8. Etc. Etc.
Membership
Membership is strictly by invitation and sponsorship by qualified existing members. The nominee undergoes a screening process which typically spans two years, average. AAA typically shops for like-minds untainted by scandal, possessed of demonstrable decency and thus a ready role model for the youth. Of course, passion for Awkuzu and the wellbeing of her indigenes ranks high in the assessments for admission.
