The Comprehensive Medical Centre, Awkuzu is honoured to announce the donation and commissioning of a state-of-the-art telemedicine facility, graciously provided by the Prof. FOC Ndu Family and named the Professor FOC Ndu Telemedicine Centre in recognition of Professor Ndu’s enduring legacy of service, scholarship, and commitment to community development.


The Telemedicine Centre was formally commissioned on 9 January 2026 by His Royal Majesty, Igwe Prof. Charles M. Anikweze (Nnamenyi III), the traditional ruler of Awkuzu Kingdom, in the presence of distinguished members of the Adinma Awkuzu Association, senior community stakeholders, and officials of the Anambra State Ministry of Health.


This modern facility significantly enhances the capacity of the Comprehensive Medical Centre, Awkuzu to deliver high-quality healthcare services by enabling real-time remote consultations, specialist referrals, diagnostics support, and continuous medical education. It is designed to bridge gaps in access to specialist care, improve clinical outcomes, and extend quality healthcare services to the wider Awkuzu community and its environs.

The Centre stands as a testament to the Prof. FOC Ndu Family’s unwavering commitment to advancing healthcare, education, and innovation, and reflects a shared vision of leveraging technology to strengthen Nigeria’s healthcare system.
