Successful Medical Outreach Event Held at Comprehensive Medical Center Awkuzu

Comprehensive Medical Center Awkuzu recently hosted a highly successful Medical Outreach event on April 8th, 2024, which saw an impressive turnout from the local community. The event, organized with the aim of providing essential healthcare services and promoting wellness, featured a range of key activities and services.

Key Features of the Outreach:
1. Eye Treatment: Attendees received expert eye care services, including vision testing and basic treatments, aimed at improving their overall eye health.
2. Blood Sugar Test: Free blood sugar tests were conducted to assess and monitor attendees’ blood sugar levels, promoting awareness and early detection of diabetes.
3. Blood Pressure Tests: Professional healthcare providers administered blood pressure tests to monitor attendees’ cardiovascular health and identify any potential issues.

4. General Treatment: A variety of general medical treatments were provided to attendees, addressing a range of health concerns and promoting overall well-being.
5. Malaria Test: Rapid malaria tests were available to help diagnose and treat cases of malaria promptly, ensuring effective management of this prevalent health condition.
6. Health Talks: Informative health talks were delivered to attendees, covering topics such as preventive healthcare practices, healthy lifestyle habits, and the importance of regular check-ups.

Enrollment in Anambra State Health Insurance Agency (ASHIA):
During the Medical Outreach, attendees were also provided with the opportunity to enroll in the Anambra State Health Insurance Agency (ASHIA), ensuring access to comprehensive healthcare coverage for themselves and their families.
